The village of Galera has 2 local supermarkets, bakeries, a chemist, doctor's surgery, about 5 or 6 bars and restaurants. It also has market day every Wednesday morning where you can buy all your fresh produce.

Galera is situated in an area surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife; offering peace and tranquility. Within a few miles drive, you can see lakes, spring fed swimming pools and mountains.

In under 1.5 hours you can be swimming in the Med in Almeria or exploring the incredible Alhambra Palace in Granada.
